Psychiatric medications are important in the treatment of mental illness. Medication management refers to the prescribing, monitoring, and adjusting of these medications. This is our primary treatment modality.
Brief therapy, or solution-focused therapy, is a short-term, goal-directed therapeutic approach. While we primarily treat using medication management, the provider will attempt to address any immediate issues the patient is experiencing. We will also provide resources if more in-depth therapy is desired.
